Visas

If you need a letter of introduction to support your visa application, please email Meaghan Warner after completing the registration process: include your nationality, occupation, full name as shown in your passport, confirm your gender and show your date of birth.

All guests are advised to contact the Thai Consulate in their home country to understand their visa requirements to enter Thailand. Citizens of certain countries may be exempt from applying for a visa.

Travel Information

Traveler’s Cheques & Credit Cards

Major credit cards, such as VISA, Master Card and Amex are acceptable in hotels and shops. Traveler’s cheques can be conveniently cashed at all commercial banks and authorized money exchanges.

Currency

Only Thai Baht is acceptable at stores and restaurants. Foreign currency exchange services are available at major banks and hotels.

Banking & Exchange

Most local banks are open Monday to Friday between 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Exchange offices are available in the central area 7 days a week between 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, and in shopping malls from 11:00 AM– 8:00 PM.

Situated within the Southeast Asia region, Thailand has a subtropical climate.

Time Zone

Thailand time is GMT plus 7. There is no daylight saving time. Sunrise is around 6.00 AM and sunset between 6.30-6.45 PM throughout the year.
